Disabled student service

The educational rights of disabled people are regulated by the Article 24 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Constitution of the Republic of Poland also protects the rights of such persons. Useful information, including the links to these texts can be found on the website:

Space of Inclusion: an innovative e-learning course for managerial staff

The Jagiellonian University and the international company Thales, based in France, have together created an innovative e-learning course to raise the awareness of managerial staff regarding disability. Its primary target group are company managers and heads of University units in different countries. The course is unique for several reasons:

  • is based on an e-learning animation technology, which makes it accessible for disabled users.
  • is condensed and full of useful knowledge for managers and staff
  • shows the potential of people with different types of disabilities as prospective employees
  • is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
  • is universal, so that it may be beneficial for users in various countries
  • is available in English, French and Polish language version
  • is available to all Internet users.
