Research interests

  • Biostratigraphy of the Cretaceous-Miocene deposits of the Alpine orogen based on small foraminifera
  • Paleoecologic interpretation of the assemblages of small foraminifera
  • Cretaceous-Paleogene events in the World Ocean and its reflection in the Outer Carpathian basin

Current focus is on:

  • Archive micropaleontological collection of late prof. Stanisław Geroch in the Institute of Geological Sciences.
  • Relationship between foraminiferal assemblagaes and sedimentological features of the deposits of flysch sequences in the selected sections of the Outer Carpathians.
