Research interests

  • In general I am interested in all aspect of clay and phyllosilicate mineralogy so by definition most of my research often involves powder diffraction and spectroscopic methods.
  •  

Current focus is on

My recent research focuses on (but is not limited to) the following topics:
  • Transformation and neoformation of clay minerals in geological (especially low temperature) and soil processes.
  • The nature of dioctahedral vermiculite
  • Weathering of glauconite
